PowerHawke by Harlan is hosting a one day NFPA 70E Seminar on Electrical Safety in the Workplace on Thursday, December 5th from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

For more information and to register follow this link.

Arc flash is a hidden and potentially perilous danger. No one believes it will happen in their facility. But arc flash accounts for 80% of all electrical injuries. Each year more than 2,000 people are treated in burn centers from arc flash incidents.

Mike Wright of 70E Solutions presents a full day session that few who have attended – ever forget. Learn how to safeguard your system against catastrophic personal injury and system loss.

We’ll also preview how PowerHawke’s Arc Flash Hazard Assessment can identify, mitigate and propose proper Personal Protective Equipment for any potential problems and ensure you comply with the revised NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace for 2012.

The session is $295 per attendee and includes breakfast, lunch, the 2012 Edition of NFPA 70E or Ugly’s 70E Handbook. Register before November 1st for the ‘Early-Bird’ rate of $250.

The Seminar will be held at Harlan Electric, 441 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN.

CCIA Saftey Committee Round Table

April 10, 2012 | Posted in Electrical Safety News, Events

On April 10, 2012, PowerHawke attended the CCIA Safety Committee’s Roundtable to present what we are all about. We explained what PowerHawke’s mission is, what we do, and why it is important. We found the round table to be a great experience in bringing more awareness to Arc Flash hazards and safety precautions.
