PowerHawke To Host NFPA 70E Training

September 25, 2014 | Posted in Events

PowerHawke is hosting NFPA 70E: Electrical Safety in the Workplace Training in both its Connecticut and Nashville, TN locations.

70E15Training this year is more important than ever as the 2015 Edition of NFPA 70E just was released this month.   The new edition introduces a major change in how stakeholders evaluate electrical risk — so that owners, managers, and employees can work together to ensure an electrically safe working area and comply with OSHA 1910 Subpart S and OSHA 1926 Subpart K.

NFPA 70E Article 110.2.D requires training every 3 years, or when changes to the code are unveiled.  If you haven’t been trained in NFPA 70E yet, or it’s been a few years it’s a great opportunity to attend.   This eight hour course focuses on the dangers of arc flash and how to avoid them and be in compliance with NFPA 70E, which OSHA uses as a benchmark for electrical safety.  Learn more about arc flash here.
